Celebrate Recovery is a Bible-based recovery study for those struggling with hurts (the pain we have suffered in our lives), habits (anything from drugs or alcohol addiction to watching too much TV) and hangups (the thing that is keeping you from moving forward in your life, such as fear and worry).

Celebrate Recovery is a vital ministry because it helps us heal in a safe and confidential community. It utilizes a biblically-based, Christ-centered curriculum that fosters spiritual growth, personal responsibility, and lasting freedom from destructive behaviors. It is a faith-building privilege to behold the redeeming transformations that take place each week in Celebrate Recovery.

We bear witness in real time to how Jesus Christ brings healing to the broken hearted, breaks the chains of those held captive, and restores estranged and/or dysfunctional relationships.

Our vision for SCN’s Celebrate Recovery is to emphasize the importance of living out active recovery by encouraging participants to move beyond simply just attending meetings to actively engaging in lifestyle changes

that center around being a disciple of Jesus Christ.

We encourage folks to continue focusing on

spiritual maturity to achieve lasting freedom.

We CELEBRATE when participants make wise choices

empowered and guided by the Holy Spirit.

Our mission-driven approach is to provide

a consistent, authentic atmosphere where we can be vulnerable, get honest about our character defects, and heal

from the root of that which compels them.

The ultimate goal is to lead people to Jesus Christ,

the Great Physician, who is our source

of healing and freedom.

What to Expect

We meet every Friday night at Sunnyside Church of the Nazarene. Dinner is at 6:20pm. Large Group begins at 7:00pm, then we break out into gender-specific small groups for a time of sharing at 8:00pm. Childcare is available.

A Quick Note on Confidentiality: We take your privacy seriously. Celebrate Recovery is a "blind" ministry, meaning what is said in the room stays in the room. You can come exactly as you are, with no fear of your business leaving the four walls of our meeting.
